PRESS RELEASE UTILITY: 2i RETE GAS TAKES OVER GAS DISTRIBUTION SERVICE IN ROZZANO

The gas distribution company 2i Rete Gas S.p.A., the main independent distributor in Italy with 3.8 million customers in around 2,000 Italian municipalities, took over, as from 3 September and for the next 12 years, the gas distribution service in the Municipality of Rozzano (MI).

2i Rete Gas’ management of the distribution service in the local area will cover around 18,500 customers,” said Chief Executive Officer Michele De Censi. “It will always seek to improve technical and commercial quality, with a significant investment plan to renew the infrastructure“.

The only change for citizens is the number to notify emergencies.

Under the new management, the citizens of Rozzano will not have to modify existing supply contracts or sign new ones: the service does not cover the sale and supply of gas which will continue to be guaranteed by the sales company with which the end user has signed their supply contract and from which they will continue to periodically receive invoices relating to gas consumption (gas bills).

To notify breakdowns and/or emergencies, as from 3 September the new emergency number is active 24 hours a day: FREEPHONE NUMBER 800 901 313.

Calls are free from both fixed and mobile numbers. The service will be operational 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
