To safeguard the enduring value of our assets, we’ve integrated the IMS, conforming to the UNI ISO 55001:2015 “Asset Management” standard. This applies specifically to the operation and maintenance processes of the reduction and metering plants, as well as the intermediate and final reduction plants within our natural gas and other fuel gas distribution networks.
In the (IMS) we have adopted for 2i Rete Gas S.p.A., we adhere to the principles outlined in our Integrated Policy for Quality, Health and Safety, Environment, and Asset Management.
Integrated Management System
Our company’s business model is underpinned by the Integrated Management System (IMS) for Quality, Health and Safety at Work, Environment, and Asset Management. This system ensures our capability to consistently provide the “Management and Conduct of the Methane Gas and other Fuel Gases Distribution Service” while adhering to mandatory requirements and relevant certification standards.
The management of our IMS adopts a systematic approach focused on continuous improvement and incorporates Risk Management principles. This methodology helps identify and implement the most effective control actions for our activities. It includes periodic and scheduled monitoring of the ability of our organisation to ensure the management of the gas distribution service in compliance with the applicable mandatory requirements, extending them, with the principle of inclusion, also to its suppliers.
The IMS we have adopted uses measurable qualitative and quantitative indicators to track and ensure the effectiveness of:

- the processes that directly and indirectly impact the working environment, the health and safety of workers, the environment, asset management, and the community;
- the main business and human resources management processes.
Reference scope
The scope of our IMS encompasses the primary process macro flows of our business model, adhering to the requirements of UNI EN ISO 9001:2015, UNI EN ISO 14001:2015, and UNI ISO 45001:2018 standards, specifically in the following phases:
- acquisition of concessions;
- service management;
- and plant launch.
To safeguard the enduring value of our assets, we’ve thoroughly harmonised the IMS, conforming to the UNI ISO 55001:2015 “Asset Management” standard. This specifically pertains to the processes involved in the operation and maintenance of plants, including reduction and metering, as well as intermediate and final reduction within the natural gas and other combustible gas distribution networks.

Certifications
The certification body responsible for evaluating the Integrated Management System (IMS) of our company, in accordance with the reference standards and regulations of the accreditation body ACCREDIA, has officially certified 2i Rete Gas S.p.A.’s IMS as compliant with the following reference standards: UNI ISO EN 9001-2015, UNI ISO 45001:2018 and UNI EN ISO 14001-2015 for the IAF 26, 28 sector. This includes distribution activities of methane gas and other combustible gases, such as operation, maintenance, and assistance of plants and networks for the distribution of these gases.
