2i Rete Gas S.p.A., in agreement with its shareholders, as part of the possible strategic alternatives for maximizing value, has started a preparatory process for the listing of the Company on the Euronext Milan (formerly known as Mercato Telematico Azionario of Borsa Italiana).
To this end, the Company will rely on the support of the investment bank Goldman Sachs International, together with other advisors and legal consultants who will be selected in the coming weeks.
2i Rete Gas, the second largest Italian operator in the gas distribution sector, operates in 18 regions, with over 2,200 employees and approximately 72 thousand km of network, serving a total of 2,225 municipalities and approximately 4.9 million end customers. The Company’s revenues in 2022 amount to 731.6 million euro and the EBITDA to 502.5 million euro (the data are exposed net of the effects of IFRIC 12).
The shareholders of 2i Rete Gas are F2i (63.9%), the Dutch pension fund APG and funds managed by Ardian (jointly 36.1%).
